Bethel’s Mission Statement
INTRODUCTION
This Concept of Ministry reflects what Scripture teaches and the Holy Spirit says to us at Bethel about what we can
be and do in response to the matchless love of the Lord.
PURPOSE
God has called us to be his church family where people can
grow together as disciples by the power of the Holy Spirit --loving Jesus, serving one another, reaching out to our community
and the world.
This involves God-glorifying worship, caring fellowship, prayer, faithfulness to
Scripture, service ministries, faithful stewardship, spiritual and numerical growth. To this end we seek to give ourselves
passionately and wholeheartedly, serving God through Bethel Church.
PRINCIPLES To help us fulfill our purpose.
1. We are committed to pray in all areas of our church life.
2. We are committed to an every member ministry in which spiritual gifts are discovered, nurtured and effectively
used in appropriate service.
3. We are committed
to meaningful membership in which all members an responsible to one another in love for faithful discipleship.
4. We are committed to being a caring fellowship involving
such things as encouragement, social events, appreciation, care for the sick, welcome for newcomers, etc.
5. We are committed to vital social, spiritual and educational programs for the
youth of our church and community.
6. We are
committed to providing effective forms of worship, practical messages from God's Word, celebration of the sacraments,
appropriate music to enable diverse members and visitors to worship and receive God's blessing.
7. We are committed to reach out as an integral part of all and programs.
8. We are committed to reach out to the community through
ministries of both evangelism and service.

We are committed to a positive, enriching relationship with Sister Ministries on campus.
10. We are committed to send and support people for global evangelism and service
ministries, both denominational and otherwise.

We are committed to our reformed doctrinal standards, while using our Biblical freedom, guided by the Church Order. to adapt
our church life to build up the congregation and reach out to the community.
