Tuesday Table Talk On Tuesday, August 3, we will offer a showing of the film "Invictus" preceded by a potluck supper. The potluck starts at 6:30 PM; the film starts at 7:15 followed by dessert and discussion at about 9:15. "Invictus" tells the story of what happened after the end of apartheid when newly elected president Nelson Mandela used the 1995 World Cup rugby matches to unite his people in South Africa - a great example of forgiveness and reconciliation. Meet in the overflow room.
Vacation Bible School Coming Up! During the week of August 23-27, we will be hosting Vacation Bible School from 9 AM to 12 PM. We'll be having a lot of fun with games, crafts, singing, Bible stories, videos, snacks, and more. If you are interested in registering your child for VBS, please call the office at 818-767-4488. Summer Sunday School! We also are hosting a special Sunday School for kids this summer starting July 4 and continuing through August 22. Summer Sunday School meets during the normal church service starting around 10:20 AM. We'll be learning about the Bible and having fun with singing, crafts, games, and more. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to have weekly times of learning about God and building relationships with other children. Join us for Sunday School this summer!
